LOOK what I found at Barnes & Noble last night!!!
Holy crap! My book is on shelves! Apparently, it was released early!?!
I thought maybe the folks that preordered my book received them before the May 3rd release date, but my book is popping up at stores all over the place, including Anchorage, AK, Concord, MA, and Arlington, VA. So cool!
My publisher has a relationship with Barnes & Noble, so you can find my book on shelves in the Health section, but you can also order it online.
Last Night’s Dinner
Last night, Mal and I planned to break out the grill to cook hamburgers on our back deck, but, by the time he brought the grill up from the basement and cleaned it, it was raining pretty hard. Boo. So, we cooked them inside on the stove top.
I had my burger on a toasted Everything Bagel Thin with cheddar cheese, relish, and a pickle. On the side: kale chips!
For dessert, Mal and I shared a caramel apple that the Easter Bunny gave me.
We murdered it.
Breakfast
This morning’s breakfast was fresh fruit with a leftover blueberry muffin from Easter brunch with peanut butter spread on top. A little while later, I enjoyed an iced coffee with soy milk.
RunChat
Last night, I participated in my first ever Twitter chat– about running!
On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, #runchat is co-moderated by Scott from iRunnerBlog and David from RunningBecauseICan. Anyone (with a Twitter account) can participate and all things running-related are discussed. If you want to learn more, check out the FAQs about #runchat.
So, I absolutely loved #runchat!! As you know, I love talking about running and learning from other runners, so #runchat was a great way to do it. The hour totally flew by for me! I could have chatted all night!
Question of the Day
What subject could you talk for hours and hours and never get bored?
