Vermont is a beautiful place for a wedding! š
Here’s the final recap of the wedding weekend: the ceremony and reception.
It was a warm, sunny day– perfect for an outdoor wedding. Bagpipes played for the pre-ceremony music.
The groom and his men hydrated themselves before the ceremony. I bet those coats and kilts were HOT!
The ceremony started promptly at 3:00 pm with the bridesmaids navigating a steep hill and then walking down the isle. The bride soon followed, escorted by both of her parents.
The ceremony was lovely. I got a little choked-up! š³
Mr. and Mrs.!
The wedding party had 20 people in it! The big group looked really cool walking together.
A cocktail hour immediately followed the ceremony.
I drank a glass of Pinot Grigio on the outdoor patio before dinner. It was wonderful catching up with old friends and chatting with new ones.
The reception was held at the gorgeous Edson Hill Manor in Stowe, Vermont.

How cute are the centerpieces and table numbers!?! Loved ’em! š
Pretty!
Table 17 decided to take a prom shot! š
Dinner started with a simple garden salad.
Before the main course was served, the bride and groom had their first dance. They’re were so sweet together!
Dinner was one of the best that I have ever eaten at a wedding: grilled salmon, cold orzo salad, steamed carrots, and wild mushroom risotto. Delicious and nutritious!
The guys! Check out the groom’s sneakers!
The night got chilly, so I threw on Mal’s suit coat to stay warm.
The bride and groom nixed the traditional wedding cake and went with cupcakes instead! Yum!
Coffee + cupcake = happy gal!
One of the best parts of the evening was a visit from the bride and groom’s French bulldog, Sophie. She’s too cute!
I love that she got all dressed up for the event!
The rest of the evening was spent getting down on the dance floor!
And a male model pose from the guys! š
It was an absolutely amazing wedding!
Thanks, Denning and Jenny! And CONGRATS!!!
