My Hump Day is off to a great start! I had a wonderful workout followed by an even more wonderful breakfast.Â
I started with a delicious and super filing Green Mango Smoothie.Â
Green Mango Smoothie
- 1 mango, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped frozen spinachÂ
- 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
- 1 -2 tbsp hemp protein (or other protein powder)
- 5-8 ice cubs
Along with my smoothie, I also enjoyed a Peanut Buttery Bar, and I’m planning to finish off breakfast with an iced coffee with agave nectar and soy milk. I love these types of breakfasts that satisfy me both mentally and physically. 😀
Workout
Strength Training: 30 minutes
- Triceps Press/Knee Tuck (8-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Wide-Stance Deadlift (12-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Pilé-Curl Combo (12-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Rocket Squat (10-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Single-Leg Row (8-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Balancing Biceps (12-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Supergirl Hamstring Curl (8-pound dumbbells, 15 reps, 2 sets)
- Squat Flye (10-pound dumbbells, 15 resp, 2 sets)Â
Cardio: 30 minutes
- Elliptical while reading magazines
