Later today, Mal and I are off to Oregon to visit his grandmother for a few days. My sister-in-law and her boyfriend are coming down from Seattle to join us, so we’re going to spend some quality family time together. (We may or may not have plans to cook Grandma’s fried chicken! Yessss!

How adorable are these pug salt and pepper shakers?!? My sister gave them to me for Christmas, and I am totally in love with them. The fawn pug holds salt while the black pug holds pepper– and they kiss!

About halfway through our drive to San Francisco, the bus stopped in Corning, California for a 15-minute break so the passengers could stretch their legs, use the restroom, and grab a bite to eat.
