Below is a list of my absolute favorite recipes that I make time and time again. I love to cook and try new recipes, but I’m not the most skilled chef, so the majority of these are quick, easy, and don’t require too many or hard-to-find ingredients. Enjoy!

I love your simple recipes. Still really want to try the shaved brussels & leak recipe, and I’m always a fan of your desserts.

Did you have a Quinoa salad recipe on here a little while ago? I could have sworn I saw one, but now can’t!

When you have links embedded in all your posts, could you please fix it so that it opens in a new window? It always just opens and replaces your window, so I forget where I originally was. Thanks.

Hey! These recipes all look awesome, especially the loaded baked potato chicken salad. I was wondering how many servings the recipe makes?

Reply

Tina January 9, 2013 at 7:33 pm

It was about 4 servings for Mal and me.

Great Blog. I found your blog through a Treadmill workout search a while back. It’s my go to workout at lunch time. Do you have a follow button?

I recently discovered your blog and love it! I also recently discovered I have a mild allergy to bananas. Do you have any recommendations for a banana substitute in your breakfast recipes? I’m always looking for healthy/quick breakfast ideas, but so many include bananas. I especially love protein shakes since they’re a quick and portable option to bring to work, but again, need a good protein shake recipe without bananas (which most include). Thanks! Jessica

Hey Tina!
Am I crazy or did you have some sort of recipe for like a tuna patty or tuna cake ? I swear I saw one either on the recipe page or in a post at one point. If so, can you give me the link again? Thanks a bunch!
Claire

I also love cooking and looking through other peoples recipes. For me it’s been really hard to find a diet I can stick to. I find when I label myself, vegan, paleo, ect as soon as I do, I get off track. And with having a blog I feel guilty about not sticking to one thing. It’s hard to find what’s right for you! I think I’m on track to a good balance.

Tina, I have your book (from awhile ago) and just came to your blog. I often make your oatmeal with the peanut butter and wheat berries, which I’d never even TRIED before (the wheat berries, I mean). I am now wondering if you’re doing a more gluten-free, wheat-free diet, lately. I’ve just started reading “Wheat Belly” and it’s too early to make up my mind about it or, for that matter, if I could even stick with a program such as this. What are your thoughts? Sorry if you’ve addressed this issue already; I’m new to your blog. Thanks!

I haven’t read the book. Sorry! Maybe talk to your doctor or an RD?
