Like the title says, dinner doesn’t get easier than this!! True story.

The Crock-Pot® Brand recently reached out to me to try their Crock-Pot® Ready-to-Cook Meals and, holy cow, they make dinnertime so incredibly easy and so incredible delicious. I mean, slow cooking is already pretty simple (and delicious – duh), but these meals take it one step further, so you really can just “set it and forget it.

The Crock-Pot Cuisine Ready-To-Cook Meals arrive at your home (in a Styrofoam cooler box packed with dry ice to keep them frozen) and each one comes with enough ingredients to feed approximately four adults. (For us, it was two adult-size servings with leftovers for two lunches.) You can choose from a variety of meals– everything from Rustic Beef Stew and Chipotle Chicken Lime Fajitas to Layered Lasagna and Sesame Ginger Chicken. Mmm!

We picked the Fiesta Chicken, which came with big chunks of chicken breast, rice, black beans and sweet corn tossed in a Mexican-style spicy red sauce as well as the Lemon Herb Chicken, which was served with green beans and wild rice in a tangy lemon sauce. (We especially loved this meal!)

Each kit includes all of the necessary ingredients as well as instructions for cooking your meal (i.e. 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low).

Each package is clearly labeled, so there’s no confusion and the various ingredients are appropriately prepared (i.e. chicken versus rice versus green beans).

Just 4 hours later, we had a delicious home-cooked meal ready to eat! And, of course, we loved having leftovers for lunch too!

As you can see, these meals are soooo easy and soooo convenient, especially for busy moms, dads, students, or just someone who isn’t super comfortable in the kitchen. I mean, just about anyone can “set it and forget it,” right? These meals are also a great item to have in your freezer when you don’t have time to cook or get to the grocery store.
