Hi, friends! How was your Labor Day weekend? We had a really nice one. In fact, it was probably the most fun I had all summer!

On Saturday morning, Mal, Q, and I drove to New Hampshire for our friends’ wedding. They got married at a summer camp, so the majority of their guests stayed on-site in the cabins for the weekend. With an infant, staying in the cabins wasn’t really an option for us, so we rented a nearby condo with my mother-in-law, her sister, and her husband. That way, we had some built-in babysitting for the weekend and they got to spend some quality time with Q.

Mal was a groomsman in the wedding, so we got an early start on Saturday morning, so he could participate in the ceremony rehearsal. I fed Q right before we left the house, so he slept for the entire car ride (2.5 hours) to Camp Cody. Yay! We arrived mid-morning, which was just in time to start enjoying some adult beverages!

We spent the majority of the day at Camp Cody, playing games and relaxing, and we eventually checked into our condo in the late afternoon.

I ended up falling asleep around 8:30 PM on Saturday night, so I woke up bright and early on Sunday morning, ready to carpe diem and celebrate our friends’ big day.

The ceremony took place at a beautiful location overlooking the lake, and the bride and groom wrote their own vows, which were so sweet and romantic. I definitely got a little choked up hearing them.

Following the ceremony was a cocktail hour and reception. It was our first night out without a baby, so Mal and I were ready to par-TAY!

The evening was filled with lots and lots and lots of dancing. I honestly don’t think I danced so much since my own wedding! It was such a blast!
