I honestly can’t believe I am writing this post right now. Where the heck did September go?!! Fastest month ever. And, with that said, here are my favorite posts from it!
Remember when I blogged about the Monster Cookie Dough Dip the other day? I mean, honestly, how could you forget? That stuff looked amazing! I couldn’t get it out of my mind, so I whipped up my own version over the weekend, and, I must say, it’s wicked good!
A few weeks ago, it hit me: our sun porch was ugly. BEFORE: Ok, it wasn’t horrible to look at, but it wasn’t reflective of our style or the rest of our house. And what style it did have was just plain old boring.
Good morning! Guess what day it is!? [source] Happy Hump Day!!! Of course, Mal and I started our day by quoting the “Happy as a Camel on Hump Day” commercial. The “Mike, Mike, Mike”¦” part is my favorite, which, obviously, translated to “Mal, Mal, Mal”¦ what day is it, Mal?” Haha!
Gluten-Free and Egg-Free Pancakes
Good morning and happy, happy, happy Sunday to you! This morning, I finally created a delicious batch of gluten-free and egg-free pancakes. I know this might not sound terribly exciting to you, but I’ve actually tried for weeks to come up with a tasty recipe and haven’t had much luck.
Interview with Christmas Abbott
Hi, guys! Happy Friday! Remember when I met Christmas Abbott at the CrossFit Games back in July? Well, I had the opportunity to interview her via email last week. So cool! Christmas recently competed in the Spartan World Championships, so the nice folks from Spartan helped coordinate our interview.
The Time I Told My Sister to Eat Cat Food
Happy birthday to my wonderful and amazing sister!!! Today she turns 32 years young! Yesterday, we celebrated her birthday with my mom and Matthew, who, of course, is the cutest baby alive. In conversation, I said something about Murphy and, for some reason, it caught Matthew’s attention.
Sick of eggs for breakfast? I bet some of you Paleo people are! Sometimes, they seem like the only thing for breakfast, right? My CrossFit box recently started a new Paleo challenge and one of my CrossFit friends said she is already sick of eggs for breakfast, so her comment inspired this post.
Healthy “Fried” Brussels Sprouts
Last night, I made a really tasty recipe for “fried” Brussels sprouts. Instead of breading and deep frying them in oil, I baked them in a lighter batter of almond meal, egg whites, and grated Parmesan cheese. They turned out so well, I just had to share!
What I Learned from Summer Running
Hi, guys! I took off yesterday and Sunday from any sort of physical activity. Ok, actually, that’s a lie. I cleaned our entire house from top to bottom on Sunday and took Murphy for a long walk yesterday, but I didn’t do a CrossFit/running/barre/yoga workout because last week’s sweat sessions really kicked my butt.
The Nicest Thing Your Parents Ever Did for You
Good morning! I saw this question in the September issue of Real Simple and thought it was a good one for CNC. I’m grateful for all sorts of nice things my mom did for me over the years, and I know you guys probably feel the same way about your parents, so I thought today’s post would be a good opportunity to share why we are thankful.
Good morning! Happy Friday! I’m all over the place this morning and had a bunch of random things that I wanted to blog about, so here they are all in one post. Enjoy! Ha! I really want to try Trader Joe’s Cold Brew Coffee.
Stitch Fix Is My New Favorite Thing
Finally! Here is my Stitch Fix post! Plain and simple: It’s awesome! I’m totally obsessed, and I can’t believe I waited so long to try it! Just a heads up: The Stitch Fix link above is a referral link, so I earn Stitch Fix credit for anyone who signs up, but this post was not sponsored.
Greetings from the Hamptons! I was invited by the Cercone Brown Company (CBC) to participate in their Cooking Cottage for the next couple of days, and I’ve had a great time so far! The Cooking Cottage is an opportunity for editors and bloggers to participate in a variety of activities.
