After Saturday’s race, I was bumming pretty hard. I was upset with myself, frustrated with my health, and just plain old discouraged because my running wasn’t what it used to be. Thankfully, I had two wonderful runner friends, who assured me I could get back to where I used to be with some hard work.
On Sunday afternoons, I typically spend about an hour preparing food for the upcoming week. I usually cook the most time-consuming meal of the week on Sundays, so while I am preparing it, I prep other foods””most of which will be stored in Tupperware containers and incorporated into meals later in the week.
Good times with Anne and Theodora!! I’m so glad I had the chance to hang out with them in Annapolis for the ZOOMA race this past weekend. As you know, Mal and I are head over heels in love with CrossFit. In fact, we love it so much, we visit CrossFit boxes and create our own travel WODs even when we’re on vacation. The Nines is a gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown, and it’s the location for the Fitbloggin’ conference.
