I have a delicious new bar to tell you guys about… introducing Health Warrior Chia Bars!
A few weeks ago, the folks from Health Warrior contacted me to see if I wanted to try their Chia Bars. I get emails like this all the time, but these bars sounded particularly interesting since their first ingredient is chia seeds. As you might already know, chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and have anti-inflammatory effects as well as other health benefits.
The Health Warrior Chia Bars are all-natural, vegan, gluten-, dairy- and soy-free and around 100 calories each with 1000 mg omega 3’s and only 5g of sugar. They come in three flavors: Acai Berry, Coconut, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. All of which are really tasty, but the Coconut is definitely my favorite—soft, sweet, and chewy with tons of little chia seeds mixed in.
The bars are actually smaller in size than similar snacks on the market, but they’d be perfect if you just want a quick bite of something before a workout or after a meal (sweet treat).
