• Guess the Pug Part

    May 23, 2013

    Hi, guys!

On Tuesday night when I was at Canyon Ranch, Mal texted me: “Guess the pug part” along with a furry photo of Murphy’s body. (He’s weird. I’m weird. It’s cool.) I love stuff like this, so, obviously, I was game. We went back and forth with photos and guesses, and it was really fun. I definitely had a good laugh!

I thought you guys might get a kick out of guessing Murphy’s pug parts too, so I included two of the harder photos that Mal sent me in this post. If you want to play along, just leave a comment on this post with your guesses. To further sweeten the game, I’ll randomly pick one comment to receive a jar of Nikki’s Coconut Butter in the flavor of your choice. Happy guessing!

Thanks to some frozen bagged goodies from Trader Joe’s, this afternoon’s lunch was fast and healthy. THANK YOU to those of you who mentioned the Superfood Pilaf and Fully Cooked Falafel! Both were delicious recommendations!

The Superfood Pilaf and Fully Cooked Falafel both have microwave cooking instructions, so lunch came together quickly and easily. Love that.

Who can resist the sweet, smooth, buttery taste of butterscotch? Not me, which is why this recipe for Butterscotch Chip Cookies might be my new favorite (healthy-ish) dessert.

Instead of refined flour and white sugar, these cookies are made with gluten-free almond flour and naturally sweet coconut oil and maple syrup. The packaged, store-bought butterscotch morsels, however, aren’t the most nutritious ingredient, but they sure taste delicious and are worth every calorie when it comes to a splurge. I hope you enjoy these cookies as much as I do!

I think the first is his elbow and the second is his hind leg/hip.

Ha! I love games like this. Pugs are so much fun, all rolls of chub and funny little faces. I play a similar game with my Boston Terrier. Chiropractor Murfreesboro TN

The first photo looks like his elbow on the front leg. The second looks like the inside of his back leg where it joins the body. Also, that superfood pilaf looks good! I’ve never seen it in TJs before.
