Two years ago today, Mal and I officially became homeowners!!
I can’t believe two years has flown by so quickly. I also can’t believe we’ve managed to stay in one place for an entire two years. Remember when we used to move every 6 months or so? I’m not going to lie, I’m so glad those days are behind us. Moving is stressful!
It’s also crazy to think about how much our house has changed since we first moved in. We’ve done a lot of projects in the past two years!

Last night’s dinner was coconut-almond flour crusted cod with roasted asparagus and steamed spinach. Simple. Delicious.
After dinner, I enjoyed a chocolate truffle from Hotel Marlowe.
I ended up staying up late watching a movie with Mal, so my stomach started to grumble a few hours later. I snacked on a sliced banana with two scoops of Teddie peanut butter before bed.
This morning, I woke up craving peanut butter, so I made a Sweet Breakfast Scramble (minus the squash/pumpkin) with a big scoop of Teddie and some TJ’s pumpkin butter. I also drank a glass of coconut-flavored Dandy Blend with almond milk.
Not much is happening with Hurricane Sandy yet, but I hear she’s coming up the coast right now and the worst of her will hit this afternoon. Yikes.

I travel a lot for my job, so I’m often on the go without a lot of time to exercise. Instead of skipping my workouts all together, I make up my own hotel-room workout using nothing but my body weight and furniture. I always aim for a full body routine that will burn calories, build muscle, and get my heart pumping. This 20-minute workout (including a 5-minute warm-up) will exercise your entire body and leave you a sweaty mess by the end! Even if you don’t have travel plans, try this workout at home or at the gym for equally as amazing results!
How’d your time trial go on Friday? Mine almost killed me, but I managed to reach 3:30. I broke a serious sweat struggling to hold it! Haha! Just a reminder to do your first time trial for the week. Try to beat Friday’s time!
