Yesterday, just a few hours after publishing my “Project Get Better” post, I received an email inviting me to a Whole9 Nutrition Seminar, which is happening in Boston this weekend. The invite was from a Twitter friend, who also works for Eventbrite (Whole9 is using Eventbrite to sell tickets to their workshops), so she offered me two free tickets. Perfect timing, right? With all of these changes I’m currently making to my diet, I immediately took her up on her offer. This workshop is exactly what I need to help me on my journey to better health.
It seems like a bunch of you guys already know about the Whole9 and Whole30 Program (a number of you recommended it to me), but just in case you don’t, here are a few links with more info: Whole9, Whole30 Program, and Whole9 Nutrition Seminar.
I’m really looking forward to this seminar, and I’ll be sure to report back once I attend. I can’t wait to learn more about how food can make me healthy.
If you’re in the area and want to attend the Whole9 Nutrition Seminar, ticket are still on sale through Eventbrite.
Snack
Mid-morning, I grabbed a handful of cherries to snack on. I was still hungry just a little while later, so I made an early lunch. I ate breakfast around 7:00, so it wasn’t all that surprising that my stomach started to grumble around 11:00. Plus, early lunches just rule.
Lunch
Today’s lunch was a turkey burger with sautéed mixed greens and zucchini. I just threw everything in the same pan with a little olive oil, pepper, and garlic salt. I added a few marinated artichoke hearts to the dish for a little extra flavor. Simple, delicious, nutritious, and satisfying.
Snack
A few hours later, I snacked on a Paleo Zucchini Almond Butter Muffin.
And then a plum.
I’m off to walk the pug and then start making dinner. Enjoy the evening, friends!
Question of the Day
Have you ever attended a seminar/workshop or read a book that really changed your thinking about healthy living/food/fitness? What was it? How did your thinking change?
P.S. THANK YOU for all of your support over the past couple of days. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. You guys are the best!
