Exciting news!
In a couple of weeks, I’m hosting my first ever Twitter party with Stonyfield to help them drum up some buzz for their new Oikos frozen yogurt flavors: Peach Mango and Super Fruits.
Like all Stonyfield products, the Frozen Oikos are made from organic ingredients produced without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics and synthetic growth hormones. Additionally, these frozen yogurts are packed with probiotics, which I am all about nowadays. Consuming probiotics via frozen yogurt? Sign me up! The Frozen Oikos contain five live and active cultures: S. THERMOPHILUS, L. BULGARICUS, L. ACIDOPHILUS, BIFIDUS AND L. CASEI.
In addition to the new flavors, Frozen Oikos is available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Honey, and Blueberry. I’ve only tried the Blueberry and Vanilla flavors so far, but I absolutely loved them, so I’m really excited about the new flavors.

Lunch
Today’s lunch was a sandwich-salad combo. I started with an open-face turkey sandwich with Laughing Cow cheese and grainy mustard spread on top of a piece of Paleo Bread.
The second part of lunch was a salad with Annie’s balsamic dressing.
It was an all around delicious lunch.
Snack
A couple of hours later (I ate lunch at 11:30), I snacked on a sliced banana with raisins, cinnamon, and a big scoop of almond butter.
Now, I’m heading out into the monsoon pouring rain to run a mile to keep the Summer Run Streak alive!

We usually buy Boar’s Head or whatever is on sale at Whole Foods or Fresh Market.

those look so good! the only time I tried Greek Yogurt was plain and I hated it. I think I could handle frozen flavored Greek Froyo. I don’t have twitter, but maybe I can steal my husband’s account that day!
we love Brown Cow yogurt. I think they are owned by Stonyfield. so rich and creamy, has all the live/active cultures, and comes in a TON of flavors. sometimes I can get it at the local Sunflower Market for 69 cents on sale, otherwise it’s 99 cents and once a week you can download coupons from the Brown Cow website to use. lovely snack.
anyway, I will start looking for the froyo at the store.

Wow, congrats on keeping your streak alive even in the pouring rain. We had downpours with hail and tornado warnings all Friday night and I’m a pansy. So I let Saturday’s long run lend one of my miles to Friday’s goal.
Hmm, I wasn’t even aware Oikos had Greek Frozen Yogurt…I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in my supermarkets. Guess I should keep an eye out for it now!

i’ve never heard of a twitter party! sounds fun. i love stonyfield, and enjoy the superfruits flavor. i’ve never seen it in frozen yogurt though, i’ll have to look for it! ps: anyone who eats a lot of stonyfield and doesn’t take advantage of the codes on their tops is just silly, because i’ve gotten a lot of free products from their rewards program! it’s great

I haven’t tried that product yet and really want to. I haven’t had a chance to participate in a Twitter party yet. It always seems like they are right in the middle of me making dinner or doing homework with my son, etc. One day! Maybe this will be the one.
I love all things peach, so that peach flavor looks good to me!
Random question about the fro-yo: I know that if you stick regular yogurt in the freezer, it can kill the live cultures. Does that happen with their frozen yogurt? (Not a big deal either way, I still plan on buying a squillion pints of it.)

A Twitter Party?! I never knew such a thing existed! Just joined the Twitter and blog world..boy have I been missing out! I can’t wait to try the Peach Mango and Superfruits flavors…they look yummy! Hopefully, my scheudle will be free and I can join in on the party next week!

You asked about twitter parties I have been to my fair share and have a lot of fun participating and winning lots of fun prizes.. But I do have to say the parties I do not find fun more frustrating than fun would be the twitter parties that give out the prizes on 1st response, and it really isnt fair.. my feed may not be as fast as others, there are many platforms to use during a party, tweetgrid, just twitter, tweetchat etc… so to be honest if it is a 1st response I will leave the party.. just my 2 cents!! Good luck Ill be there!!

I’ll be at your Twitter party! I have been to a few and although it’s a bit hard to keep up sometimes, I love them. Just the other day I also attended one about summer beach travel (I have a travel blog too).
As for those Oikos frozen yogurt’s, I know my hubby will LOVE the peach one. Can’t wait to tell him about it.

I love Twitter parties! The first one I attended was a little confusing, but once I learned how to keep up with all the posts, I fell in love. It’s so great to meet so many people from around the world and talk about different products or just chat for the fun of it. My best peace of advice I could give you is take it one step at a time. Don’t get frustrated if you can’t read all the posts at once. If you stay calm, you will find that the audience will keep up with you and all your posts. People love to ReTweet your posts, so you will see a lot of that. I am one of those people. LOL Can’t wait to see you tonight at your first ever Twitter party, and i know you’ll do fine!
