Good morning, friends!
I honestly don’t know what I would do if Jersey Shore, Ellen (I still can’t believe I saw her in person!), Dexter, or Community were no longer on TV, but sometimes, even the best shows get cancelled.
These are just some of my favorite TV shows that I wish would make a return to prime time:
- My So Called Life
- Sports Night
- Sex in the City
- Freaks & Geeks
Last Night’s Dinner
Dinner was a meal from last week’s menu that never got eaten. Thankfully, the meat and produce didn’t spoil.
In the mix: creamy Parmesan risotto, roasted garlic chicken sausage, and roasted broccoli and cauliflower.
I cooked each part separately and then mixed everything together.
Delicious + nutritious + satisfying = dinner win.
This morning’s breakfast was a bit of a disaster because I was hungry and impatient. I made Kodiak Cake pancakes with chia seeds, but they stuck to the pan because I turned the heat up on the stove and ended up burning them. They were still edible, just not very pretty-looking. I topped my pancakes with peanut butter and dried cranberries.
This weekend, Ali is running her first marathon. If you follower her blog, you know that she has put her heart in soul into her training and fundraising. Ali has raised nearly $12,000 for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, an organization that has been a part of her family since she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at 7 years old.
Ali was selected by JackRabbit Sports as one of their marathoners, so she is in a competition against five other runners to see which of them can raise the most money for their charity. Ali is super competitive and really wants to win, so if you would like to make a donation, you can do so easily online: https://www.formstack.com/forms/jrab-rfr_donation&cause=CCFA.
Question of the Day
What shows do you wish were still on TV?
