Greetings from the Big Apple! 
I arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon in New York City and immediately headed straight to Eventi, a fancy-schmancy Chelsea hotel near the New York theater district.
If you’re a long-time reader of CNC, you know just how much I love hotels. I’m actually sort of obsessed. (You can see all of my hotel reviews here.) My hotel for the weekend was no different! It’s gorgeous, fun, and everything I love about hotels!

If you’ve ever stayed in New York City, these rooms are quite spacious, especially compared to The Hudson Hotel, for instance. Has anyone ever stayed there? The bathrooms remind me of an Ikea display. They’re really funky, but so, so tiny! I banged my elbow when I showered!
The views from my room are amazing! I love this city!
Once I got settled in my room, I hit the gym for a quick workout.
I ran an easy 3 miles on the treadmill (I rocked my new shirt from the National Half), stretched, and headed back up to my room to get ready. It was a short and sweet workout.

Ah ha! I saw in your “Health & Wellness” blog that you were staying at a Kimpton. I love them!!! They are so fun and swanky. I stayed at one in DC and loved it! I thought the decor looked like one of those… Have fun!

What an awesome hotel! I didn’t realize how big they were in NYC. Whenever my family goes to NYC, we stay at this adorable bed and breakfast. Have a great time!
You always stay at the nicest hotels! And I’m jealous of that fitness centre. At the last hotel I stayed at, 2 of the 3 treadmills were broken!

The Evanti! I was just at that hotel last weekend. AMazing right? Did you try the fruit infused water in the lobby? I didn’t really take pics of the hotel since I didnt stay there (friends were staying!) but I took some 11th floor view shots!! I love NYC, too! It’s making me miss America. NYC might be my encapsulating image of everything American–maybe because it has something for EVERY American!
