Happy New Kids on the Block Day!!!
I have a feeling that most of you probably forgot about this special holiday. That’s okay. It actually might only be celebrated here in Massachusetts.
Did you know that Massachusetts declared April 24, 1989, “New Kids on the Block Day,” and, every year since, I’ve celebrated? Ok, that second part is a total lie. The only reason I remember (this random holiday) is because NKOTB Day is the same day as my Uncle Mark’s birthday, which, in 1989, my cousin, Meeghan and I were psyched about! We were such huge fans! I had the biggest crush on Joey. I even wore a black hat just like his. Man, I was so stylish back then.
Ok, let’s get to the real holiday of the day”¦
Happy Easter!!
I celebrated Easter at my grandparents’ house where we enjoyed a huge, awesome brunch with lots of deliciousness.
I helped myself to a little bit of everything.
And a lot of dessert.
Cupcakes? Obviously.
The Easter brunch aftermath:
I hope you had a wonderful Easter!
I’m off to listen to my favorite New Kids cassette tape, which is Hangin’ Tough.
Were you a NKOTB fan? What was your favorite album?
