Ahhh… that you for that much-needed escape from the cold, grey ice and snow currently falling outside. My happy place is a beach in New Zealand that had the most amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Got me thinking about my trip to the islands in the south of Thailand last October….wish I was still there!
I just wanted to say that I think it is awesome you are sharing your winter blues on here. SO many people struggle with that and I know that for myself it can get really extreme and interfere with my ability to function sometimes. I think it is great you are sharing (and doing) things that help you!

I think it is time for some Vitamin D to combat those winter blues! Seriously. I grew up in Seattle and when I lived there as an adult the only thing that got me through the winter was Vitamin D supplements. Helps with the lack of sunshine!

My fiance and I have been dreaming EVERYDAY of our honeymoon in June!!! We are going to Maui! We cant wait, especially because 1. ) celebrating our marriage, which will be the best day ever and 2. ) being somewhere warm, its freezing here, spring come soon!!

I love that your anniversary is my birthday! And on the exact day you got married I was in Vegas celebrating my 21st birthday, and getting drunk on the strip with my sisters, and best friend! lol. Next time you go on a trip for your anniversary take me with you, please and thank you!

We also stayed at the Regent Palms in T&C and LOVED it!! We were there in January 2010 for a “babymoon” before my littlest one was born. Since I was 5 months pregnant, I didn’t get to partake in as many adult beverages as my husband…but other than that, it was the perfect vacation.
I’ve been to beaches in Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, Fiji and Barbados but have to say none of those places even compare to the beaches in Turks & Caicos!! The sand is like powder and the water is completely swimmable with no rocks, large waves or coral. So beautiful! And perfect place to run miles on the beach, too.
Oh, seeing your pictures makes me want to go back!!!
