After taking a Body Pump class and running a few errands around town, I returned home to find a (doggie) crime scene.
There was stick shrapnel everywhere!
Evidence.
Every.
Where.
The weapon:
The culprit and the crime!!
Now the pug is serving time on the sun porch while I clean up the mess.
What a butthead.

Oh my, what a face. He’s working what he’s got for sure!
Too funny. He probably took the opportunity being home alone and no one stealing his sticks for some fire again.
LOL – his face on the porch is priceless.
So…
It was Murphy
With the stick
In the living room.
hahahaha. i bet it’s hard to be mad at a face like that
This post made me laugh out loud. The pacing was perfect and the picture of Murphy is amazing.
Starting to think the fireplace was a bad idea… going to have to place those suckers in a tote!
No way you can stay mad at that face
What a cutie.
That last picture is too cute. “Please forgive me and let me back in!”
Oh, Murphy, just gotta love him. LOL!
haha…looks like he’s trying to pull the whole innocent face. what a schmuck.
Awww, Murphy! Doing hard time, eh?
Oh, Murphy! He has the most expressive face.
bahaha murphy cracks me up. love the pics with his paw on the stick like “I didnt do it!” too precious.
Haha, such an innocent face, though!
Perhaps he is making a statement about who owns the sticks in the backyard.
He looks guilty to me!
What a cutie. My boyfriend and I are constantly finding “crime scenes” in our apartment; our dog is OBSESSED with paper towels (I don’t know why) and will find them anywhere. He likes to tear one sheet up into about a thousand pieces, and leave the detritus of his fun for us to find later
So hard to stay upset with dogs! They’re just too damn adorable.
OMG! That pitiful little face looking through the door cracks me up!
haha oh but I bet he had SO much fun!!
Oh gosh, he really does look like he knows he’s done wrong! That’s the same look my dog has when I come home and she’s scrounged up used tissues from the bin…
Haha it sounds like he had a little party today!!
LOL, it’s like a game of CLUE. It was the Pug! In the livingroom with the stick!
hahaha love his faces. pugs make great faces!
He loves his sticks.
oh no Murphy!! love his face though
I understand your frustration! I left a bag of bread out on the counter the other day. My dog dragged it into his bed and ate it all.
But SUCH a cute butthead!
That’s so funny! My post yesterday was titled “Chicken Bandit” after a similar experience with a mini goldendoodle and…you guessed it…chicken.
You can take comfort in the fact he probably thoroughly enjoyed his stick escapades while you were out! Gus loves to be mischievous
Aww apparently Murphy thought Santa was done watching for the year
That picture of him on the sun porch reminds me of this:

Haha…where did the stick come from?
One time we were dog-sitting for a friend, so we had our greyhound and a friend-greyhound over. We ran out to go grocery shopping and came back to find white dusty pawprints everywhere… on the carpet, on the couch…we went into the kitchen where a bag of pancake mix had been ripped open. We found crusty dried pancake mix on our dog’s paws; and crusty pancake mix on the friend-dog… I think it’s pretty safe to say the friend dog was the main culprit in ripping open the bag, but our dog was clearly not innocent either!!
Aww poor Murphy!
ahahahahaha!!! I just love these posts!!! It makes my day every- single- time. Thank you for sharing Murphy’s crimes!
that’s adorable
