Unpacking is Hard Work

November 12, 2010

Murphy agrees.

Unpacking is hard work. Actually, it’s exhausting, especially for a pug.

Breakfast

After a late night of unpacking and organizing, Murphy and I slept in until about 8:30 this morning. Then, I made a big bowl of pear oatmeal for breakfast. My first bowl of oats in our new house!

In the mix: oats, ground flaxseed meal, soy milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.

After breakfast, I headed out for a run in my new neighborhood. I haven’t run much since last week’s 16-miler, so my legs were really stiff at first. Once I hit mile 3, my legs started to loosen up.

Lots to do today!

Happy Friday!

I agree with Murphy! I swear if I have to move again I’m literally packing two suitcases and nothing more! LOL Ok, and my puppies… LOL…. but honest to God I can’t stand the moving thing. I used to find it so exciting and new, etc. but maybe a combination of health issues & old age has changed that train of thought? Either way… I swear if I have to do it again I’m moving into a one room apartment, furnished & 2 suitcases I bring with my chihuahua and black lab! LOL
