Decorating a house is a lot of work, right? Well, I’ve been working very hard on this flight then!
Have you ever heard of a “mood board”? I never heard of such a thing until reading about them on Young House Love. Basically, a mood board is a way to sift through furniture, color themes, accessories, and the like to get decorating ideas for your home.
I just spent the past couple of hours going crazy on Olioboard, an interactive tool for experimenting with the style and mood of a space. Even if I can’t find/purchase the items that I selected for my mood boards, they’re still great inspiration for hunting down something similar.
Check out my design ideas so far!

Oh god. I need to think about this in like 10 years when I am finally ready to decorate a place of my own.
