Remember the Great Wall of China from a couple of weeks ago? Well, I found an additional use for it!
Is that a gravy boat, you ask? Why, yes, it is!
Is that a serving bowl? Yep.
China (and other fun dishes) make great catch-alls for odds and ends, especially jewelry, hair clips, and other everyday items.
I know we’ll use our china for dinner parties and special meals, but I figured that I might as well put it to use in other aspects of our life as well. It’s too pretty not to use!
Lunch came early today. Around 11:00, my stomach started to grumble, so I wiped-up some scrambled eggs with leftover roasted cauliflower and crumbled feta on top.
On the side, I had some Stonyfield yogurt and a couple of clementines.
After lunch, I had a serious craving for peanut butter (I missed my usual scoop in this morning’s oats), so I baked a small batch of Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies.
I love this recipe because it only requires 3 ingredients. Ok, it’s delicious too!
The rug installation guys should be here any minute now. So excited!
P.S. I wrote about how NuVal has helped me change my thinking about food. Be sure to check it out!
