LOL, when you said “best friend” I thought for sure you would have shown Murphy. And then I was like, oh, duh, of course it would be her husband! Though I’m glad to see Murphy got his fair share of blog time, too. ;-)

Looks like you’re having a great day! Hope the weekend ends on a good note, too.

Such a good post. It’s nice to recognise the good things in life, as too often we focus on the bad. Those flowers are beautiful.

What a lovely day Tina!

I too love when fresh flowers last a long time — and I do the same thing you do — after a few days or a week I retrim them way lower and put them in a new vase. Its like having a new vase of flowers!

i just got introduced to this blog and love it already! this post did exactly what i believe you intended… made me so HAPPY. :)

it reminded me of this book i finished reading and have been promoting for all the world… it’s called The Happiness Project (by Gretchen Rubin) and it basically goes through the author’s pursuit for “happiness” over the course of a year (i forget the details…)… i LOVE this book though and thought i’d recommend it since it seems in perfect keeping with this post.

ps- have you had starbucks’ salted caramel hot chocolate on a chilly, yet sunny, day? di-vine.
