Look at that sad pug face!!!
It gets harder and harder to say goodbye to this dog. He whimpered and whined when I got out of the car at the airport this morning. It totally broke my heart. 
Man, I’m such a softie.
I’m pretty sure my husband didn’t want to say goodbye either, but he kept it together. No whimpering and whining from him! 
Before Mom’s tragic departure, Murphy really enjoyed the car ride to the airport.
It was a beautiful morning with lots of delicious doggie smells in the air.
Breakfast
I rocked the overnight oats for breakfast this morning. In the mix: oats, ground flaxseed meal, walnuts, vanilla soy milk, and two scoops of Barney Butter. Delicious as always.
I also enjoyed a glass of iced coffee.
At the airport, I whizzed through security. There were only a few people ahead of me in line. Actually, the Delta terminal was practically empty. I guess not a lot of people travel on Thursday mornings?
When I arrived at my gate, I was informed that my flight to Orlando was delayed two hours. Boo! But, to make up for the “inconvenience,” Delta compensated the folks on our flight with a $6 meal voucher. Free food? I’ll take it. I don’t feel inconvenienced at all now!
Lunch
I headed straight to Starbucks to grab lunch. I ended up choosing their Turkey & Cheddar sandwich. I usually steer-clear of pre-made sandwiches (they just bug me out), but this one sounded tasty and it looked fresh. Hopefully, it’s everything I hoped for!
I also ordered an iced soy latte. Why not, right?
TNT Fundraiser

Home Update
We have our home inspection today! 
Sadly, I’ll be sitting on a plane to Orlando when it takes place, but I know my husband has things under control. He loves that type of stuff and will take copious notes to fill me in later. I definitely trust his judgement. I hope everything goes well. I’m sort of attached to this house now!

-cleaned my bedroom (clothes in the hamper or hung, cleared my desk so only my laptop is left on it, books back on shelf, pencils back in desk, etc.)
-flossed and brushed
-went to pee
-have my water bottle full and on my shelf
-closed the closet door (very important!!)
-checked to make sure door is locked
-kissed my cat goodnight
…gotten in at least an hour of reading!
I hate buying prepackaged sandwiches, they are ALWAYS too soggy and they absolutely always include at least one ingredient I can’t stand.

I can’t go to sleep unless I’ve: Made my to-do list for the next day (I do this every single night), read and deleted all of my text messages from the day, and cleaned my room. I also can’t get into an unmade bed. If I didn’t make my bed that morning, I’ll straighten all my sheets before getting in that night. I know, I know… slightly OCD.

I can’t go to sleep unless I’ve got a big glass of water next to me and read a few pages of my book. Ask me this and the winter time and the answer is? Taken a warm bath with lavendar essential oil. It is COLD here in Canada and I can’t fall asleep unless I am warmed up from a nightly bath.

Also, Cafeteria Boston has THE best bread! I went there a few weeks ago and could have eaten a whole loaf.

Like some other commentors, generally, I can’t go to sleep unless I’ve washed my face. The idea of my little bit of make-up coming off on my clean, cozy sheets really grosses me out. That being said, if I go out and having a few adult beverages, washing my face tends not to seem so important anymore.

Pet and hug my Abby girl (dog), and told my husband I love him. Wow that’s cheesy. Oh, and of course the usual bedtime routine of brush teeth, take contacts out, lock all the doors, and make sure all closet doors are completely closed. If they aren’t closed it creeps me out!
Read a few pages of my book, and taken a batch or shower…..I know! I’m an odd one
I have to clean the kitchen. I hate waking up to dirty dishes. For me there is nothing worse.
Love the pics of Murphy and my boyfriend is obsessed! He used to have a pug, but lost her in a break-up. Seeing your posts practically brings tears to his eyes. Hahaha but its understandable, pugs are so endearing.
