Al Roker says: “You are fabulous just the way you are!”

What a great morning! I shook Al Roker’s hand and saw my blog buddy, Caitlin, on national television. It was truly an amazing experience.

If you haven’t heard by now, Caitlin was on the TODAY show this morning to promote her newly released book, Operation Beautiful. So, a group of bloggers and I supported her with Operation Beautiful signs and t-shirts during the taping in Rockerfeller Center.

Going to the TODAY show was so cool, especially seeing Matt, Meredith, and Al up close and personal.

This morning, we had a group of 12-15 enthusiastic bloggers and readers supporting Caitlin and OB.

It was so fun seeing Caitlin on TV and being part of the experience. It was also great meeting some of my “internet friends” in person! ;-)

After seeing Caitlin on the TODAY show, our group headed to Au Bon Pain for breakfast. I hit up the oatmeal bar and added all sorts of goodies to my bowl.

I also drank an iced soy latte from Dean & Deluca while at the TODAY show.

Yay!!!

I just checked into my hotel room. My plan is to hit the gym and shower. I smell.

Stay tuned! :-D

Haha, that first picture–the man behind Al kind of looks like an Axe murderer staring you down. I’m sure it was just an unflattering photo, still hilarious though
