I’m lovin’ Philly! What a cool, little city! 
So, first things first, THE HOTEL!! As you know, I am a tad obsessed with all things hotels. I can’t help but take photos and blog about them. Maybe my next blog will be a hotel blog?! 
We’re staying at the fancy-schmancy Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia. The hotel lobby is swanky, sophisticated, and modern.
My room is similarly funky and fun.
I LOVE the huge shower in the bathroom!
(Yep, I’m totally obsessed.)
Lunch
After we checked in to the hotel, Sabrina, Jenna, Anne, and I headed to lunch at Di Bruno’s, an indoor farmers’ market and eatery. The place was basically a foodie’s paradise.
After wandering around for awhile, checking out all of the options, I finally decided on a Cheddar-Jalapeño Bagel.
And, on the side, I had some grilled veggies.
I also drank a can of grapefruit-flavored seltzer with lunch. I really enjoyed eating outside and chatting away with the girls.
Sabrina tricked me into drinking decaf iced coffee this morning, so, by afternoon, I was plagued with a serious caffeine-withdrawal headache. So, I took a pit-stop at the ING Direct Cafe for a caffeinated iced coffee with soy milk. Apparently, I have a caffeine “problem.” 
Then, we strolled over to Rittenhouse Square, where we took some fun photos!
Our final destination of the afternoon was Phileo Yogurt for a blogger/reader meet-up.
I’m not sure what I was expecting at Phileo, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It’s make-your-own fro-yo with toppings. Loved it! 
I filled my bowl with Cake Batter, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and Oreo Cookie-flavored fro-yo and then added peanut butter chips, cookie dough chunks, chocolate spinkles, and white chocolate chips. It was so delicious. I really wished I had filled my cup more!
A fabulous group of women came out for the meet-up this afternoon. I loved chatting with everyone!
Now, Jenna, Anne, and I are enjoying a glass of wine from the hotel’s happy hour while blogging. It’s not a bad way to end the afternoon!

What hotel are you at? I go to Philly several times of year for work . . . I may have to check it out! If you have the chance, go to Hummus Restaurant on the Penn Campus. Life changing. Or maybe I was just really hungry when I went, but I don’t think so!
I love hotel showers because they are always so immaculate! I can’t say the same for my own shower at home :/

Got to love the Ben Franklin head in the lobby. I just finished the first book in a children’s novel series called The 39 Clues. The first book takes place in Philly and the clues are all related to Benny Boy’s life. It was a great book and I even learned a bit about him and his involvement in Philadelphia.
You got some great pictures at the meet-up! I chose fruity flavors, but everyone raved about the cake batter so I’m kind of disappointed I didn’t try it! It was great meeting you, hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Philly!

I love hotels too, I always feel so different when I stay in a hotel, as if I have a secret 2nd life….odd much!

If you love hotels, you have to try HOTEL VITALE in SAN FRANCISCO. Its located across the street from the famous FERRY BUILDING and EMBARCADERO Street. The hotel has awesome rooms, but I would recommend either the DELUXE WATERFRONT of the PANORAMIC SUITE. Check out their website. prices are a little hight, but you really do get what you pay for at this hotel. It’s THE only hotel we stay at when we visit SAN FRANCISCO. Gah, such a wonderful day!! I can’t believe that we don’t even ahve fro-yo in Australia, and you guys get Cake Batter and Reese’s fro-yo? Argh! That’s it, I’m moving to Philly. Um, except for not having a visa… darn it. Anyone have a nice brother I could marry?
