Happy FRIDAY, friends! đ
Today is the day!! Tonight, I’m celebrating my 30th birthday. Ok, so, today’s not my actual birthday, but I’m attending a very special wedding on June 19th, so my par-tay is scheduled for tonight.
For the past few months, my husband has been plotting planning something for the big 3-0. I’ve asked him a few questions about what’s going on, but I really like surprises, so I’ve mostly let him do his thing without bugging him too much. Of course, I’m super curious, but I don’t want to ruin what my hubby has worked so hard to plan.
Last night, Mal closed himself off in the office for 5 hours!! I have no idea what he was doing in there for so long, but he asked me (and Murphy) not to bother him. At one point, he left the house to run a secret errand, but other than that, he kept himself locked up. He played Toucher & Rich podcasts on all night, so I couldn’t hear anything inside the office. Although, I’m pretty sure that I heard crumpling paper at one point.
Of course, Murphy was concerned about what was happening in the office, but it was declared a “no pug zone.”
Ok, so, here’s what I know:
- My mom and sister claim they have no idea what’s going on and that Mal won’t return their calls and emails.
- Marie told me that she doesn’t think Mal planned anything at all.
- This past weekend, Jenna told me she knows what Mal is planning.
- My friend, Jen, told me she was “busy” tonight.
I’m definitely stumped! But, I’m also really looking forward to tonight. I seriously have no idea what my husband has planned, but I know it’ll be fun! đ
Breakfast
I rocked the overnight oats again for breakfast this morning. In the mix: old-fashioned oats, Mad Hectic oatmeal, walnuts, blueberry-infused Craisins, ground flaxseed meal, and vanilla soy milk.
In honor of my birthday celebration this evening, I also enjoyed some Birthday Cake iced coffee with breakfast this morning. (Don’t forget about my Buy 2, Get 1 FREE deal on the Birthday Cake coffee. Time is running out!)
