Dave and Marie make such a great couple. You can tell how much they enjoy being with one another. It’s so nice to see a couple who is truly best friends like they are. I really felt honored to be part of their special day.
Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held at the hotel and Marie’s uncle officiated the marriage. Here’s Dave and his best man (Mal) waiting for the bride.
Marie’s mom walked her down the aisle.
Reception
The banquet room for the reception was gorgeous! It was stylish, sophisticated, and romantic with dim lighting, votive candles, white roses, black striped linens, and splashes of deep purple.
The reception started with the introduction of the wedding party and then went right into Dave and Marie’s first dance as husband and wife.
Mal did an awesome job with his Best Man speech. He combined a sentimental story with some funny memories of the couple. He received lots of compliments over the course of the night.
For dinner, we started with a goat cheese salad.
The main entree was stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

After dinner and dessert, we spent the rest of the evening dancing.
It was fun.
After Party
Our friends were well prepared for the after party.
One word: Beer-ritas.
Yep, it was one of those nights! 
(I actually drank a TON of water last night and woke up feeling totally fine this morning. Thank goodness! I don’t do well with hangovers. I’m such a baby!)
It was a fantastic wedding!! Dave and Marie were so happy all weekend. I loved seeing them enjoy themselves so much. Plus, they really know how to throw a party!

I love weddings!! I wish people had danced at ours though. No one would! It was just my husband and me and then my best friend and her husband. Eventually we had the ring bearer and flower girl dance. But I guess everyone else wanted to be party poopers!
