Greetings from the sky! I think we’re flying somewhere over the Carolinas now. Hi, Kath and Erica! 😀
I just spent the last 45 minutes writing my Health post for the week. I always write a rough draft and then go back a day or two later to do the edits. It’s helpful to look at my writing with “fresh eyes.”
My flight to Orlando didn’t depart until 11:00 am, so I had plenty of time to hang out with my guys this morning. It’s always hard to say goodbye to their adorable faces.
I don’t return to Boston until Tuesday afternoon, so it’s going to be awhile until I see them again. 😕
Mal kindly offered to give me a ride to the airport this morning. On the way, we stopped by Dunkin’ Donuts for iced coffee. (With both sort of panicked when we realized that we were out of milk for our homemade iced coffee this morning! 😯 )
I also got a spring munchkin at D&D.
I checked in for my flight online, so getting to my gate was a piece of cake. I’m also becoming quite an expert traveler when it comes to getting through security. I can have my sneakers and coat off, laptop in separate bin, and my suitcase on the conveyer belt in a matter of seconds. One of the TSA guys actually complimented me on my efficiently this morning! 😉
Before boarding the plane, I purchased a fruit cup for lunch.
I grabbed a Fiber One bar from the Body Pump event last night, so I packed it in my bag for lunch today. (If you’re curious, this bar tasted really fake and artificial. Chocolate + 90 calories = I should know better. 😕 )
I also snacked on some plantain chips.
And I had more coffee. I love that Jet Blue has freshly brewed Dunkin’ Donuts coffee on board!
I’m all caught up with work (for now), so I’m going to enjoy some leisure reading for the rest of the flight. Mal gave me Michael Pollan’s Food Rules for Valentine’s Day, so I’m finally going to dive into it. I’ve heard great things!
P.S. I’ll be tweeting from the Eggland’s Best account, so be sure to follow them to see what’s happening!
