Almost home. I’m writing this post on my flight back to Boston. I spent the first hour sleeping and catching up with celebrity gossip via US Weekly. I’ve been a blogging maniac for the past few days, so it was really nice to just to veg-out.
I woke up at 5:30 this morning to catch up with work. I’ve sort of been ignoring my inbox since I arrived in Orlando, so I had plenty to do. In addition to conquering emails, I edited my Health post for the week, did some stuff for NuVal, posted a bunch of Gordon’s events, and finished my post about the Bake-Off awards ceremony. I was actually really productive. Love that! For some reason, I do my best work in the early hours of the day. I’m such a morning person.
Breakfast
I wanted to bust-out some serious work this morning (I hate feeling behind), so I treated myself to breakfast in my room. Not surprisingly, I chose oatmeal + coffee.
The oatmeal was served with granola, dried cranberries, and apple chutney.
It wasn’t the best bowl of oatmeal I have ever eaten, but it did the trick.
When I arrived at the airport, I grabbed a mango smoothie for lunch. It tasted pretty good, but it wasn’t very filling. My stomach started to growl a little while later. 👿
On the plane, I devoured a bag of cashews and a mini bottle of water. I actually might ask for another bag of nuts. I’m still hungry!

I think a power nap is definitely on the agenda for later this afternoon. I need to rally for the RIPE event tonight!
P.S. A reader recognized me on the plane!! It still think it’s crazy when it happens. For some reason, I always get embarrassed? But, it’s still fun! Hi, Summer!
