Good morning! 
I ended up staying up so late last night. Well, it was late for me! 
I finally got into bed well past midnight.
My friend, Matt, and I met at The Hudson Bar to have a drink, celebrate his birthday, and catch up. We had a great time chatting, but we ended up hanging out way past by bedtime. Needless to say, my 7:00 am wake-up call came much sooner than expected!
The Hudson Bar is such a cool place. I love its funky decor and vibe. Mal and I visited a little over a year ago and really enjoyed it too. You can read my recap here.
At the Hudson, I ordered a vodka dirty martini with olives. It was a good one!
It had the perfect about of vodka + “dirt.”
I’m off to breakfast with some of the bloggers on the trip. I’m HUNGRY!

I love that tree trunk/log table!! I have been completely thrown off by DST–guf! I wish I hit the hay at midnight.

Those mornings are tough after a night out. It’s my b-day in a few weeks and I’m already thinking about how I’ll handle the exhaustion of the next day!
I always seem to wake up sooo early after a night out. And all I really need it sleep!

What awesome decor. And the idea of dirt in a drink doesn’t sound appealing even though I know lots of people like them that way.

I stayed at the Hudson Hotel the last time I was in New York! The whole place was so cool! The escalators when you walk in kind of freaked me out at first with the weird lighting, but it ended up being so neat!
