Happy Pug

March 2, 2010

I *think* Ecto is finally fixed! YAY!!! With the help of my amazing husband and webmaster, we somehow managed to fix it. Thank goodness for computer geeks! ;-) Let’s hope this is the end of my Ecto issues!

After work, Mal and I took Murphy for a long walk around our neighborhood. Murph was so happy today! He couldn’t wipe the big pug smile from his face all afternoon. I love seeing him like that!

On our walk, we stumbled upon a bunch of pups playing together in a local park, so we stopped by to say hello.

IMG_6584.JPG

Murphy had a great time running around and playing with the other dogs.

IMG_6579.JPG IMG_6581.JPG

At one point, while hanging out at the park, a Golden Retriever tried to eat my camera!

IMG_6582.JPG

After the park, the three of us ran home together. How adorable are these two?! :-D

Snack

After our long walk, I snacked on a No-Bake Protein Bar.

And, then, like, a million pistachios. (This photo is just a small sampling!)

Dinner

I tried a new salsa with dinner this evening: Black Bean & Corn from Don Sabrosa Salsa. The folks at Don Sabrosa Salsa sent me a bunch of their flavors to try the other day, including a Blueberry, Peach, and Honey salsa. I can’t wait to try that one!

IMG_6590.JPG

As you can see, the Black Bean & Corn salsa had big chunks of beans and corn throughout. The flavor was bold with a serious kick to it. I love spicy salsa! I topped my veggie burger with a hefty scoop.

IMG_6594.JPG

On the side, I had a bunch of kale chips.

In a few minutes, Mal and I are off to Body Pump. Our friends, Dave and Marie, are joining us tonight. Hopefully, we’ll get them hooked, too! ;-)

My dog hates the dog park. Maybe he just knows his owner would not like standing out in the cold
