Another Birthday Celebration

March 7, 2010

Happy birthday to Jen!

I spent the evening celebrating my good friend Jen’s birthday at a house party at her apartment. It was a fun night!

Before heading to Jen’s place, I ate dinner at Dave and Marie’s house. We kept things simple and ordered Papa Gino’s pizza for dinner. Ya can’t go wrong with Papa Gino’s!

I ended up eating 2 slices: cheese + veggie.

I also drank some red wine with dinner. I first tasted this particular wine at the Traveling Vineyard wine tasting that Mal and I hosted at our apartment last May. It’s a good one! :-D

Then, the four of us rocked out to Rock Band for a couple of hours. So fun!

Around 9:00 (aka WAY past my bedtime), Marie and I headed to Jen’s house to par-tay.

As a birthday gift, I brought Jen a bottle of one of her favorite wines.

Jen is easy to please when it comes to Pinot Grigio! ;-)

At the party, I enjoyed a couple of glasses of sangria. The mix of fruit, wine, and spices was so delicious!

IMG_6949.JPG

Mmm! I love sangria!

I also munched one a chocolate truffle and some chips + salsa. I get so snacky when I drink!

Marie and me!

It’s another late night for me, and I am SO READY for BED! I’m definitely sleeping late tomorrow morning.

G’night!

Well, you need snacks with drinks so that you don’t get blotto! So it was a smart decision to have that truffle :)

Rock Band is such a party pleaser. It’s so fun to let the inner child come out. You look intense in that drumming picture.

rock band plus snacks=my kind of fun. I end up singing way to loud for my own good and regret it the next morning.
