So Glad You’re Here, Friday

February 26, 2010

So, Mal, Murphy, and I had a slow start to our Friday.

Mal and Andy didn’t get home from the bar until 12:30, which meant that I didn’t get back to sleep until well past 1:00 AM. After a few lot of beers, the guys decided to wake me up because they wanted to hangout. Aren’t they sweet? Oh, well, at least they were entertaining! ;-)

Murphy was also tired this morning. His life is seriously SO HARD. I don’t know how he gets through each day.

Breakfast

Not surprisingly, my poor husband didn’t feel 100% when he woke up this morning. So, when he asked for banana oatmeal for breakfast, I just couldn’t turn him down. Plus, I love banana oats, too! ;-)

This morning’s batch of oats was really creamy– perhaps because of the almond milk?

And, I had some wonderful iced coffee with breakfast this morning.

Question of the Day

With St. Patty’s Day coming up, I’m really looking forward to my mom’s corn beef and cabbage. My mom’s side of the family is Irish. My dad’s is Italian.

What is your heritage?

P.S. Last chance to Ask Me Anything! I’m answering the final round of questions– including the baby question, which was asked at least 50 times!

I’m French-Canadian (or should I say “Québecoise”) but also Irish on my dad’s side.

I come from a family of mutts (we’re note nearly as cool as murph ;) ). I’m Native American (Cherokee), German, Irish, and a small sprinkling of others. My family calls Arkansas the old country, though. We’re pretty American :)
