Check out newest piece of furniture!

Our “new” table was once owned by Mal’s parents many, many, many years ago. It’s been in storage for ages, but now it’s ours to keep– at least for a little awhile.

I love the “rustic” look of this table. It has random paint spots and coffee ring stains all over, which gives it tons of character.

It also fits perfectly in our dining room!

Dinner
For dinner tonight, I tried to another gardein product: Tuscan Breasts. They’re so quick and easy to make, why not, right? I have places to be tonight!

I also liked this product, but I liked the Bbq Pulled Shreds a lot more– they just seemed so much like the real thing. I could tell that the Tuscan Breasts were a meat-free product, ya know?

I chopped up one of the Tuscan Breasts and added it to a big salad for dinner tonight.

Delicious meal.

For “dessert,” I ate a couple of Sandwich Thins with peanut butter and raisins on top. I also ate a vanilla Chobani yogurt with Uncle Sam cereal and sliced banana as an afternoon snack, but I guess my camera ate that photo?
I’m off to meet friends for some celebratory birthday drinks. See ya!

That’s a great table! Our kitchen table is my fiance’s parents’ old table. I think it has circulated among all the kids in the family for the last 15 years or so!
That table is beautiful!! I love antique looking furniture like that. Just makes everything feel nice and warm or something! And it’s pretty neat that it is a hand me down from Mal’s parents.
Your apartment looks great! I’m amazed at how quickly you two got it all put together. Great work!!

The table is gorgeous! It looks really sturdy too! I can’t wait to “grow up” from my ikea furniture and get some great stuff with character!
I love, love your table! We recently bought a similar “new” table (made from old barn wood) and I love the rustic feel that it brings to our space. And, it doesn’t hurt that they’ve become incredibly stylish
