Andy’s birthday get-together at Big City was such a blast!
It was so fun to see everyone, drink a few beers, and celebrate together.

When Mal lived right down the street, I used to go to Big City all of the time, but I haven’t been back in ages. I’m glad that I had a chance to visit again last night. I forgot how much I liked spending time there.

Big City has 40+ draft beers. Sweet!

After checking out the menu of beers, I chose a Mad Elf Ale, which was a combination of cherries, honey, and chocolate malts. The flavor was sort of fruity and spicy. I liked it a lot.

Happy birthday, Tebo!

M & T.

The group ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, so I munched on a few nachos and a bite of a cheese-stuffed pretzel. I LOVED the cheese-stuffed pretzel! It tasted like a super cheesy grilled cheese sandwich with sea salt. It was awesome.

And, of course, the night included plenty of shenanigans.

Yay for puffy coats!

After the bar, Mal and I chowed down on some late-night snacks at home. We broke into a bag of Uncle Jerry’s pretzels and Salsa Con Queso Cheddar Dip. At least they were somewhat healthy, right?

It was such a yummy combination, especially after drinking 2 beers!
I ate, like, a million pretzels + cheese dip.

Breakfast post coming soon. I made something especially delicious this morning!

What a fun night! I love that girl’s hair in the first pic– so cute!
Can’t wait to see what fun breakfast you whipped up
I live right down the street (moved from South End– so sad) and I always forget about that place. I do love Sunset for their draft beer though.
‘cherries, honey, and chocolate malts’ – That sounds like a beer I could handle!!
Glad you had fun
Tina, you are so frickin’ cute…especially in that puffy coat

Pretzels and cheese are among my favorite combos… yum! Looks like a great night
Wow I haven’t been to Big City forever, thanks for reminding of it’s existence (I went to BC too but since I moved farther away- still not far, I forget to go back to my old hangouts haha)

It looks like a fun place that you love to hang out at!
Those pretzels look yum! Where can you get them? I’ve looked at places like Whole Foods, but never seen it before…Is it an “only-Boston” thing?
That beer sounds so awesome!
Can’t wait to see what you whipped up for breakfast
I could so go some salsa and queso dip right now! We have nothing like it in Australia… Looking forward to the morning post! Did you bake something wonderful again?
Cheese stuffed pretzels!?! Now you got my attention. Oh my…..you guys have the cutest little places in your neighborhood. Where I live in San Diego, it’s not like that at all.
Mmm, pretzels and cheese dip! So yummy. Big City’s owned by the same company as Sunset Grill right? Sunset is pretty close to the top of my list of things I miss about Boston.
What a fun night – the bar looks like a perfect place to catch up with old friends.
Those pretzels look so good! I got a soft pretzel at the bowling alley last night and it totally hit the spot!
P.S. Did you get my email last week? I hope so!
I’m so jealous of those soft pretzels. yum!
It looks like you had such a great time!
I love pool halls. My friends and I used to hang out in them alot during college. Such fun memories.
The cheese filled pretzels sounds amazing!!!! They used to have them at the food court of the mall in my town. So darn good!
Wow! That beer sounds almost like a dessert! I bet it was scrummy.
I wish we could get hold of the pretzels that you have in the US in the UK, they do look delicious.

Looks like a fun night! Your pretzels and dip remind me of an amazing hot pretzel place near my mom’s in NJ. . . all sorts of hot pretzels and toppings. Now I want it!
