When Pugs Fly

January 22, 2010

I am so psyched that it’s FRIDAY!

I have an awesome weekend planned that includes lots of R & R, spending time with friends, and absolutely zero book writing. You see, I made a wonderful discovery about the first draft of my book: I’m just 7,000 words away from my 50,000-word goal! All of those 4:29 mornings definitely paid off! :-D So, now I am taking a little break from writing (at least until Monday) to de-stress, unwind, and come back fresh to bust out the last 7,000 words. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Lunch

Today’s lunch started with a homemade salad of spring mix, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and sliced almonds.

And then some plain Chobani with Uncle Sam cereal.

And, finally, a JAZZ apple!

All together.

And, I didn’t forget about Cookie Friday. I’m thinking about enjoying some hot cocoa at work and then some Jer’s chocolates when I get home. I’m all about the chocolate today! ;-)

Choose Your Color

Here’s a little Friday fun for y’all! ;-)

Erika sent me a link to this Flying Pug t-shirt yesterday, and as soon as I opened it, I knew that I needed this shirt in my life. It’s Murphy in cartoon form! Just look at the big pug lip! So, if you’re game, feel free to help me pick a Flying Pug T-shirt!

My plan for Friday night: Mal and I are showing our apartment to another couple, taking Murphy for a long walk, and meeting one of my favorite blog friends and her husband for drinks and appetizers.

Hooray for the weekend!!!

Well if you want it to be more “real” pug colored then I would say go with the creme but I love all things pink so I would go for the pink one. They are very cute! So glad the book is coming along well, have a great weekend!

that’s awesome that you’re so close to your goal! having the weekend to unwind will be so nice.

I love anything green, but I also love the pink, blue, and the heathered gray color. I say pick the one you know looks best on you!

Pink – always Pink!

Having said that – I think the green or the slate would look great with denim – if you were thinking of wearing it with jeans? Look forward to seeing which you choose!

I love the ash stripe one!!! Wow. I want a pug so bad. Everyone says I shouldn’t get one because they have SO MANY breathing issues. Is that true?

Pink or Silver shows the pug the best. Some of the colors make the shirt look cheap. How about taking a picture of Murp and put it on a t-shirt yourself at the local photo store.
