We’re Home!

December 30, 2009

Mal and I survived the red eye back to Boston! What a trip!

(This is what you look like after 27 hours of travel! Hot, right? ;-) )

I didn’t end up snapping many photos on the flight home. Thankfully, there weren’t too many highlights! Mal and I each ended up scoring aisle seats in the emergency row though. The extra space was awesome for sleeping on a red eye. I definitely stretched out! :-D

After take off, I read Mal’s Men’s Health for about 30 minutes before passing out. I was exhausted, but I didn’t sleep great on the plane. But, surprisingly, I’m not that tired today. I’m sure it’ll hit me hard later.

Once we landed in Boston around 8:00 this morning, Mal and I took a cab to our apartment, where I grabbed a quick breakfast of my Grammie’s raisin-walnut bread with peanut butter smeared on top and a banana.

On the drive to pick up Murphy from my sister’s house, we stopped to get iced coffee.

IMG_1701.JPG

Um, yea, it’s 15 degrees in Boston today and I’m drinking iced coffee. I have issues. (Ewww. Look at all of that dust. My car is gross. :-? )

IMG_1702.JPG

When we got to my sister’s place, Murphy was so excited to see us! We were excited to see him, too! :-D

I missed my little Gremlin!

Our apartment is in shambles, so cleaning and organizing is up next.

I’ll blog about San Francisco and pick a winner for The Spark giveaway this afternoon!
