I woke up craving the most random food this morning: salsa! Weird. Usually, I crave sweet carbs (like oatmeal) in the morning, so salsa was really strange for me.
I honored my salsa craving and made myself a breakfast burrito with egg, cheddar cheese, and salsa, which I wrapped-up in a whole wheat tortilla.

Fantastic breakfast!

Pink Glove Dance
Have you guys seen this video yet?
A bunch of health care workers got together to made this video to feature these pink gloves. The pink gloves are intended to remind people to talk about breast cancer and some of the money from the gloves will be used to pay for mammograms for women that couldn’t afford it. Cool, right? The video cracks me up!

I love salsa folded into an omelet with cheddar… yum. And fitness during the holidays usually just comes in the form of walking– through stores, with family and friends, and whatever else I can squeeze in!
I’m with you. Sometime I want sweet stuff like waffles or pancakes and others I want salt like bacon and eggs.
My secret is to not treat the holidays any differently than any other time of the year (when is comes to exercise) I work out everyday (Monday through Saturday) first thing in the morning. During the holidays I just keep that same schedule. I find that keeping a normal rountine during the holiday craziness is the best way to keep me sane (and healthy!)
Breakfast burritos are one of my favorite things to eat! Its usually what I make when I host brunches
I work harder to actually schedule in exercise…I start thinking about it when I’m scheduling my time off for work for the holidays. And most importantly, if I miss some exercise—it’s OK!!!!!!
What a great idea with the breakfast burritos, I can’t wait to try it! Looks so simple and yummy
