Same Meal Twice

There were so many leftovers from the Last-Minute Lasagna, I ended up eating it two different times today. It’s a pretty delicious recipe and I hate to see food go to waste, so why not, right? Combined with some homemade salad, it ended up being a nutritious and satisfying meal– both times! ;-)

Lunch

I packed-up my leftovers + salad to take with me to eat at NuVal this afternoon. I was so busy creating posts for when I am away in Oregon, I basically chowed lunch without paying much attention to the meal. It was over before I knew it! :-?

Snack

After work, I picked-up Mal from school. On my way, I stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts to grab him an iced coffee. Of course, I had a few sips of it. ;-)

I also bought us each a special treat. :-D

Holiday munchkins! Holy yum! I loved mine! Mal wasn’t nearly as ecstatic about his, but he ate it anyway.

Dinner

For dinner, I repeated lunch: homemade salad + leftovers.

Great leftovers… again!

For dessert, I enjoyed 2 small handfuls of chocolate chips. I think Murphy thought he was getting some of them.

Tasty leftovers are the best. Plus they take hardly anytime to cook.
I’m loving your schedule you posted. As a musician – I have strange hours and I also have to self motivate to practice. I think I should try revamping my schedule to start earlier and practice first.

I love leftovers and actually *plan* for them in my monthly menus. I’m always so bitter when my hubby eats it all and there’s no leftovers ;-)

I think guys get less excited about food. When Corey and I had coffee with Jenna this weekend, she asked him how he enjoyed our PHENOMENAL dinner in wine country. His reply: “It was good.”

    good? GOOD?!?!

I will be trying that quick lasagna as soon as I can drive to the grocery store again. This snow needs to clear up!

I’ve never put pasta on a salad before, but you know, it sounds like a great idea. Do you use the sauce instead of dressing?
