Re-Gifting? A Do or a Don’t?

Happy Cookie Friday!

I started my Cookie Friday at 5:30 this morning with a special treat: Cookie Friday Cookies from YouCookie! :-D The folks at YouBar are now making customizable cookies. Obviously, they’re perfect for Cookie Friday! ;-)

The nice people at YouCookie asked me if I wanted to create my own batch of custom cookies for FREE and, of course, I jumped at the chance!

My Cookie Friday Cookies arrived just a few days later, packaged individually inside a tin. I love that the cookies were packaged individually. It definitely helps me with portion control. Remember, I AM the Cookie Monster!

I had one of these babies with a smear of almond butter on top right before I went to the gym. It was the perfect pre-workout fuel.

After the gym, I showered-up and made a delightful bowl of banana oats.

In the mix:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed meal
  • 1 tbsp wheatberries
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup soy milk
  • Splash of water
  • Scoop of Teddie peanut butter

After this post, I am getting right to it. I need to write my Health post and get crackin’ on my BOOK! I also have a doctor’s appointment and a conference call this afternoon. Lots to do!

What do you think about re-gifting? Is it a DO or a DON’T?

Would you consider giving the name of the winner along with their random integer number so that everyone doesn’t have to go back and search the comments? Thanks!

Happy Cookie Friday! Love the idea of YouCookie.

I always think re-gifting is a no-no.

I have regifted before but not something that someone close to me gave me or a gift that was special. Just little stuff like stocking stuffers and stuff I won’t or can’t use, I give to other people who don’t know the people who gave them to me first.

Depends on the gift and if it was used. Recycle remember so good for the environment.

Those cookies look amazing. Possibly portion control would help me… Or not lol

I just checked out the youcookie site and I feel like a kid in a candy store! (or a bloggie in whole foods, same difference..) so many options! what are the ingredients in your batch?

regifting is a-okay in my book as long as it’s unused :)

I didn’t know today was National Cookie Day! Wow! It must have just been fate that made me decide to whip up the first of the season’s gingerbread. :) Oats look delicious; can’t wait to see the cookies without the shiny plastic wrappers, lol!
