I would love this gadget. I am someone who loves food and cooking, but I get really anxious when there is food in my fridge I can’t eat. I would love this machine so I could save my leftovers and not worry about if they will go bad in the freezer or not. It would allow me to try out more recipes in the kitchen and bring out my inner Julia :)

I would love this! I have to walk to the grocery store (no car) which is normally fine but I can only buy enough produce as I will eat in 3 or 4 days, which means a lot of my time is spent walking to the grocery store. You can make meals and make your own frozen dinners… or buy in bulk and freeze portions knowing that they won’t just get freezer burned. It looks less bulky than some of the other vacuum sealers too.

Things easily go to waste when just putting them in the fridge, but the freezer leaves an awful taste into foods and things often get freezer burned. With a vacuum sealer, we could save things longer and make soups or sauces and freeeze them in individual packages making smaller meals easy! We may actually start shopping wholesale knowing we could freeze the leftover food! :)

My fiance and I are actors, so we are on a tight budget all the time. We try to shop at big box stores for our perishable items, unfortunately they do tend to spoil so a vacume packer would be great for sealing all those very fresh things (meat/veggies) that are so good that tend to spoil so quickly without nasty preservatves!

    Thanks!

This would be a great addition to our kitchen, as our meals would last longer and taste much fresher than keeping them in standard containers for the entire week.

Over the last year, I’ve started using my freezer probably 12x as much as I used to. I do a lot of cooking specifically for the freezer, which means I go through a lot of ziploc bags, plastic wrap, and plastic bowls. A vacuum sealer would condense a lot of this and would probably save me food that ends up going bad when a bag or bowl is broken.

I have 3 kids at home, all teens & early 20′s that have schedules that never match up with dinners. While I end up making enough for all of us plus my fiance, end result is tons of leftovers. The great part is, even when the kids don’t want the leftovers because theyv’e eaten crappy take out foods… .I end up eating healthier when I have them around (I make better healthier foods so of course eating those leftovers would be better for me than going for take out). Add to that the fact that I need to watch my money, limited income on disability after cancer. Having the ability to keep leftovers fresh & handy to reuse quickly…. what more could I ask for?

And with the help of this, I could plan ahead and make a big batch of something and throw it in the freezer and take it out on days when I’m starving and in a hurry. And then I wouldn’t be tempted to eat junk because it’s more convenient. It would also allow me to preserve veggies if I’ve bought more than I ate that week.

Me me me! :) I want this! I am a freezing machine and this would really help maximize my use of freezing local vegetables in season. :)

I need the food saver because I live by myself and waste so much food, I absolutely hate that! This would help me drastically reduce my waste. Have a great day Tina!

I need this in my life because I can never finish the pack of asparagus I buy at Costco before it spoils!

This would be so great for leftovers. Think about it, there are thousands of people living in poverty trying to make a loaf of bread or other food last, and here we are, throwing food away with out thinking twice. That’s why this would be a great food saver

I’d love to have one of these because I prepare and freeze a lot of my own meals to use for later. This would help keep them tasting fresh!

This would be great for me since I make seperate meals for myself. Unfortunatly my whole family is not on board with the way I eat & although I work hard to change that, it is not there yet so I continue to make seperate meals for myself. This would sure make less waste & room in the freezer.

Wow. With the hubby unemployed, I buy in bulk and freeze. This would insure a longer shelf (freeze)life for my purchases. Can’t afford to throw anything away.

I waste so much food. I end up making a recipe for 4 and there is only one of me! This would be great for soups, veggies and cheese!

Amazing giveaway! My sister-in-law has one and says she’ll never freeze anything in a baggie again- she loves hers!
