Wow! We love pistachios. I thought that it was interesting that per serving pistachios have more antioxidants that a cup of green tea. Pretty cool!
Colleen — November 3, 2009 @ 9:55 am
Pistachios grow in heavy grape-like clusters surrounded by a fleshy hull. When they ripen in late summer or early autumn, the pistachio kernel fills inside the shell so vigorously that it splits the shell. Sounds like popcorn!
Stephanie — November 3, 2009 @ 9:55 am
I thought the fact about the amount of fiber in pistachios was interesting– I never knew!
I also just thought the Queen of Sheba fact was funny
Alycia — November 3, 2009 @ 9:55 am
