Pistachios are by FAR my favorite nut! So, I never really thought about what their health benefits were, I just ate them because I enjoyed them. But… now that I find out that they have a bunch of a potassium in them, I’m extra stoked, because I take medication for hypertension daily and I’m urged to eat foods with extra potassium, so now I can add pistachios to my breakfast routine (I get bored of a banana or orange juice every day)!

Pistachios have more potassium than any other nut. Did you know a serving of pistachios has more potassium than half of a large banana? That’s pretty powerful.

I think that’s pretty cool. I never know where to get my potassium from naturally.
