Taco Night

Taco night with our friends, Dave and Marie, was FUN! :-D

Dave and Marie brought their dogs, Grady and Bella, so Murphy was happy to see them too.

There was plenty of puppy playtime tonight!

After catching up (and watching our dogs spaz-out) for awhile, it was time to eat! Mal and I threw together a taco dinner for our guests.

We had all of the fixings: lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, salsa, ground beef, hot sauce, sour cream, soft and hard tacos.

We used whole wheat wraps (instead of flour tortillas) for the “soft tacos.”

I loaded up my “soft taco” with a little bit of everything. Yuumm! So good!

And, for dessert, the four of us finished-off the sugar cookies– except for the pug cookie. I’m saving him for later! ;-)

I’m spending the rest of the night setting up giveaways for December 1. Hope you’re ready!!!

Good night!

@Kat (Kat’s Daily Plate): I’m not sure since Mal picked it out. I’m guessing whatever was on sale and not too fatty.

And I love do it yourself meals. It is nice to make it individualized to everyone’s tastes.

Your pictures of Murphy always make me smile! : ) He’s SO CUTE!

Could you explain a couple of your hip strengthening exercises from your earlier post? I’m unsure what the “single leg toe touches” and the “dumbbell chop” are…

I’m not a big taco fan, but I love foods where each person can create her own. Plus anything it is okay to eat with your hands is good in my book. :)
