It Does Exist!
I found it! Stonyfield Pumpkin Pie-flavored yogurt does exist!!!
I nearly jumped for joy when I saw Stonyfield’s Pumpkin Pie-flavored yogurt at Whole Foods this morning. (Bostonians: I found it at the Charles River Plaza location.) I specifically went into Whole Foods looking for this product, so I had the biggest smile on my face and snapped one up right away! I was SO psyched!
When I arrived home, I immediately broke open my container of yogurt. The flavor was SO MUCH BETTER than I ever expected! Seriously, it tasted just like pumpkin pie. It was smooth and creamy with a light orange color, and a considerable punch of pumpkin pie flavor. But, the flavor wasn’t fake-tasting or super sweet like some blended yogurts can be– it was just the right amount of pumpkin pie deliciousness.
I ate my Pumpkin Pie yogurt with Raisin Bran mixed in. The combo was heavenly!

As Stonyfield says, “Ahhh, autumn. Here in New Hampshire, it’s time for warm sweaters, crisp air, blazing foliage, and a big wedge of delicious pumpkin pie. Savor the season, ’cause it won’t last long.” Rumor has it that this flavor is only available until December 2009.
Wah! Why can’t it be sold year-round!?!

Mal should be home in about an hour, and then we hitting the road to head home!
Happy Thanksgiving, blog friends!

on Nov 25th, 2009 at 12:38 pm
I tried it a few weeks ago and I wasn’t a fan
I mean it tasted good but the texture was a little too runny for me. Glad you enjoyed it!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Unfortunately, I didn’t like this yogurt at all. I thought it was very fake tasting and tasted nothing like pumpkin pie. I must eat too many sweet treats to enjoy this.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Yum!! Thanks for the review. Now I just need to find it near me. In the mean time I’ve been making my own pumpkin pie yogurt and it works, but I want to try the real thing!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Now if only people in New Hampshire could BUY IT!
I have been looking all over the place for that and cannot find it ANYWHERE!!! Hello??!! Stoneyfield, please please at least let your own state have some.
Well we are going to MA for Thanksgiving, maybe while we are there we can find some…..

Whole Foods in Portland Maine has it, in case anyone up here is looking for it
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
That looks wonderful – I think I just might have to try and recreate some with a pie and yogurt combo.
Happy Thanksgiving!

This yogurt sounds so good! I have to look for it at our Wholes Foods. BTW I found the holiday sugar cookie tea. Not sure if you have Safeway grocery stores in Boston but that’s where I found mine. I will gladly send you a box, just let me know. Happy Thanksgiving!!

on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Have a safe trip home!
I wish it came in soy yogurt form. I wish soy yogurt came in better flavors! It sounds heavenly. Especially with some Raisin Bran which is an addictive food in itself!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
I have yet to find this yogurt in the DC area
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
Happy Thanksgiving Tina!! Have a safe drive!

Oh! That is very exciting. Now I need to find myself some….
Hope you have a great holiday!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
I’m going to have to make a trip to WF to find some. I am usually leary of blended yogurts but so many people are raving about this.
The satisfaction of finding tha one thing you’ve been looking for is amazing.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
I have to find this yogurt. I love pumpkin anything. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
This looks so good! I am starting to think the same thing about the Celestial Seasonings holiday teas that I will never be able to find!
Have a happy holiday!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:41 pm

So jealous! I’d give anything to get my hands on that in Paris!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
That looks so good…I second the Celestial Seasonings comment. I have looked for the Sugar Cookie tea everywhere with no success!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:49 pm
I hope you have a save trip home! Do you think you’ll break out the Christmas music on the way home?
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:50 pm
Errr… SAFE trip home. No clue what a save trip would be
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:51 pm
That sounds delicious. I’ll look for it … I love their Chocolate Underground flavor (or whatever it’s called).
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
I saw that yogurt at Jewel last night and *almost* bought it. I was leary of it because I don’t usually like dessert flavored togurts, but now I think I might have to go back for it.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 2:18 pm
Oh I got to see if they have it in the wholefoods here in Hawaii yum!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 2:36 pm
Happy Thanksgiving! They’ve had it at the Framingham Whole Foods for months now; I wonder why it took so long to hit Boston. It’s good, but I’ve been able to recreate it with adding pumpkin to plain greek yogurt and mixing in cinnamon and allspice. It’s really great with a harvest spice granola bar crumbled over
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 2:47 pm
I’ve heard such mixed reviews on this yogurt – I am going to have to try it for myself and see!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 2:48 pm
Looks delish. We don’t even have that brand here so I won’t get excited AT ALL for my chances of trying it! I haven’t even tried pumpkin pie… I should get on to that and bake on this weekend!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
I’ve been looking for it everywhere and seem to find every Stonyfield flavor EXCEPT pumpkin pie!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:11 pm
Isn’t it the best?! So glad you were able to enjoy!
Safe travels!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
I almost bought that yogurt at Whole Foods today! I went with Chobani instead but it was pretty hard!
Have a great Thanksgiving!!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
I’m Canadian and drive about an hour to get to a Grocery store in Buffalo N.Y that sells this. I thought it tasted totally fake and horrible. I added in some Go Lean and it tastes significantly better with some crunch in it….I froze one too…that was Yucky and a total no-no!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:38 pm
I haven’t found that yogurt yet…I love anything pumpkin pie!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Whole Foods in Brighton sells the Pumpkin Stopneyfields yogurt too! I was disappointed about it though. Wished it was sweeter.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Oh I want to find that so bad too! It sounds so delicious….!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
I haven’t tried Stonyfield at all, but this is the flavor I’d really love to give a shot. Pumpkin pie is my favorite holiday treat!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 7:07 pm
Oh wow! Way to go Whole Foods!
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
Ahahaha, yay! This is my FAVORITE flavored yogurt, by far! I’m glad you found it–it took me forever, too! And I’m just as sad as you are that it’s limited… but only till December?!
Seriously? That’s way too short…
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
Just wondering if Stonyfield is a sponsor of yours?
Happy Thanksgiving and all the best to C & C!

I’m so jealous! I’ve been searching in NYC forever!! Maybe I’ll have better luck while in Philly for the holiday.
on Nov 25th, 2009 at 11:14 pm
This sounds absolutely delicious! I’ve been adding pumpkin butter to plain yogurt and it tastes just like pumpkin pie, so I can imagine Stonyfield’s is yummy.

Thanks for speedy reply!Cheers

would have loved to try this but it’s probably gone by now. I did have some pumpkin icecream recently and it was pretty good (though not something I’d want all the time)
