I love your attitude re: not working out this morning. Sometimes I tend to freak out if I miss a workout and have that all or nothing attitude. It's refreshing to see someone treat it as part of the day/routine and know that you can always get back on the horse (or bus, or whatever metaphor you choose ;))

I'm going to my parents house in CT!

I am having Thanksgiving with my boyfriend. We're making Turkey Mole with handmade corn tortillas. Dessert is gluten free brownies with peanut butter chips, Coconut Bliss and perfectly ripe persimmons. Fun!

I wish I had the patience for stove top oats. I stick mine in the microwave while I put on my make-up.

For Turkey Day Hunni and I have a day just for us since we don't get enough time to travel home. But we like it and it has become tradition.

I'm a new follower as i am trying to get out of my rut of unhealthiness. great minds seem to think alike as i had nearly the exact same thing for breakfast this morning. i had oats with pom, banana, and a tad bit of honey. in your recipes (and others i've seen for oats on other blogs) it seems that ground flaxseed is always present. Can you explain the benefit of this ingredient?

I've tried to get into the stove top but I find microwaving so much cleaner(plus when I'm in my dorm it's not like I have much choice)
