Happy (early) Thanksgiving
Happy (early) Thanksgiving, bloggies!
I thought a little recap of Turkey Day 2008 would be fun, especially for the new-ish Carrots ‘N’ Cake readers. So, enjoy the trip down memory lane and have a wonderful Thanksgiving, guys!
My 10-year high school reunion was the Saturday after Thanksgiving last year. Class of ’98! It was actually pretty fun!
Delicious Turkey Day Leftovers
When I was looking through old posts to put this together, I stumbled upon a bunch from when Mal and I visited New York City, which was such an awesome trip! I can’t wait to visit NYC again SOON!
(FYI: There’s a number of links that recap our NYC trip at the bottom of the Eatery post linked above.)
Enjoy the day tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

Happy Thanksgiving! Your hair looks so pretty and shiny in that last picture– I’m jealous!
Will Murphy be donning a pilgrim costume by any chance? Or is he more of a turkey?

I wholly agree with your holiday eating philosophy, but another part of mine is to get back on track with your normal eating habits the next day. Don’t make Thanksgiving and Christmas a whole week of overeating.

Beautiful, reminiscent post! The only thing that’s tops Thanksgiving Turkey and cranberry sauce is the leftover turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich the day after. It’s one of life’s simple and wonderful annual pleasures.
Hope you come back to NYC soon! If you ever need a blog-tour guide or want to meet up for a blog dinner somewhere healthy and grand, let me know!
