Apartment Tour: Before

Mal loved my Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pancakes so much, he asked for them again this weekend. I liked them a lot too, so I wasn’t going to turn down his request!

I made cinnamon apples for the topping again, but this time I added a splash of water, a few shakes of cinnamon, and a squirt of agave nectar. The agave nectar added a nice sweetness and, combined with the water, it created a yummy apple-cinnamon sauce.

While eating breakfast, my hubby suggested that we rearrange the furniture in our apartment. Mal and I have both complained that our new place isn’t as “homey” as we had hoped, so we decided to do something about it.

I have a million things to do this afternoon. I’m off!

Mmmm like apple pie pancakes! :) Only healthier..

Looking forward to see how rearranging goes. My mom is a serial rearranger..she is guaranteed to move my furniture around when she is here. She did it last weekend, but we haven’t had the chance to move it back yet. Maybe I should rearrange while I’m at it!

Your house is really cute Tina! Good luck rearranging… I always find it kind of fun to move everything around- keeps things interesting. And that’s the worst when you don’t feel cozy in your house. I’m sure you’ll make it better soon. Plus, pancakes help too! :)

I like rearraging things. I’m annoyed that our current apparment doesn’t have alot of options to rearrange. :0(

I make that apple topping all the time and just add granola on top because it tastes like apple crisp :=)

Your apartment is awesome! I love your furniture, and I really like the cool loft-style TV/office area. I want a place like that. :) Your pancakes look great, too. I never make pancakes, although I do love them. I’m going to try your recipe soon!
