Pugs Make Good Lobsters

Remember how I mentioned that Murphy wants to be a lobster for Halloween? Hilary from Red Head, Yellow Dog sent me a photo of her friend’s pug wearing the same lobster costume! It totally cracked me up, and I just had to share.

Now Murphy really wants to be a lobster for Halloween! ;-)

Breakfast

I was starving (and in a rush) this morning, so I kept breakfast simple: 2 slices of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and banana slices.

MixMyGranola Giveaway

MixMyGranola has been busy in the last few months: They recently added Trail Mixes to the MixMyGranola product line and they also introduced a Granola Club, which allows you to purchase a pre-paid subscription that saves you between 15%-35% compared to single orders.

To celebrate these new additions, MixMyGranola has graciously offered to give a $25 gift certificate to one lucky CNC winner!

How to enter: Visit the MixMyGranola website, create a granola mix, and post the ingredients as a comment on this post.

At tonight’s dinner post, I will pick one winner via the Random Integer Generator.

Good luck!

    I had so much fun creating my own mix. I was really tempted to add Candy Corn as a seasonal extra. But since I was thinking of what I’d like mixed in a breakfast yogurt, I decided against it. Here’s what I went with:

    Granola Base
    * Low-Fat Granola

    Fruits
    * Organic Raisins

    Nuts and Seeds
    * Organic Flax Seeds
    * Roasted Almonds
