I still can’t believe that I spent the afternoon in a pomegranate orchard in California!

The group spent a couple of hours in the orchard learning about pomegranates from the POM team.

We got to pick them right off the trees!

And taste them! :-D

The pomegranates were so vibrant and fresh! And, of course, delicious!

I loved learning about pomegranates and POM’s harvesting practices. I find it all so interesting!

I’ll post some videos later tonight about what I learned while touring the orchards this afternoon.

We’re off to hear a presentation about the health benefits of pomegranates and then to a fancy-schmancy dinner.

There’s even more to come!

I love the colors your camera picks up with the red of the poms and the green of the leaves. It looks like Christmas to me :-)

Because of you, I bough some POM pomagrenade just yesterday, remembering the orchard pictures from your post! :) I can’t remember the last time that I had one of those… at least 5 years ago! So good and different… messy but well, that is part of the fun! :) :D
